If you live in the rural farmlands and towns, do not let your children out at night. Else, the Brood Raider lures it away and eats it.
At night, the Brood Raider remains in the silhouette of a beautiful cloaked woman, so that stray children might approach her in the pretense of making friends. Then, she unfurls her wings and separates her body in such a grotesque way that it instills fear and disgust into the watcher. Proves a unique purpose similar to a Beowolf's howl: The fear eminating from anyone witnessing the Brood Raider's "disembowelment" would attract more Grimm to its location, prompting a Grimm attack.
When she is not serving as the catalyst for Grimm Invasions, the Brood Raider separates herself in a secluded area, leaving her lower torso standing in the form of a human corpse. Her upper torso would climb up a lofty place and wait for the precise time to strike. When a human comes across the legs, she jabs them with her neurotoxin-coated tongue and carries them off to feed. Like the Nuckelavee, she prefers to stay in one specific lair instead of being nomadic.
When fighting, the Brood Raider's legs are incredibly powerful, with a kick almost as deadly as a kangaroo, but have no sense of their own direction, reacting purely on instinct. She licks her claws before battle to give them a paralysing aspect.
And here she is, the Manananggal Grimm. I've seen many fanon Grimm (mostly major European mythology) but few Southeast Asian folklore-based Grimm. This is also the first Grimm I've made that looks almost human.
